About Me
Welcome to Mrs. Williamson's website. I am looking forward to a great year! After 22 years of teaching I feel very fortunate to have been a part of the Richland faculty for the last 12 years. I am not only a part of the faculty I am also a parent of three Richland students two former and one curent. As I begin to learn about you over the next few weeks let me first tell you a little about me. I am a native Memphian. I attended Grace St. Luke's from Jr. Kindergarten to the 9th grade and then attended Central High School and graduated in 1990. I then went to Mississippi State University. After a year at State I came home for the summer. That summer I was introduced to the new youth intern at church and the rest is history. I did not return to MSU but continued my studies at the University of Memphis where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Teaching. Later I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Cumberland University in Lebanon, TN. I have been blessed with an amazing husband and three beautiful children. Grant will begin his softmore year at the University of Chattanooga, Sara is a 10th grader here at White Station High School, and then there is Allan our full of life 10 year old who will be a fourth grader this year. In preparation of turning 40 (a few years ago) I decided it was time to shed the sedentary lifestyle I had made for myself. So I decided to begin exercising and taking care of myself and it has been one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. I have made activity a part of everyday. I enjoy life rushing around to all of the events that come with three active children. I am excited and look forward to teaching your child this school year. My hope for this year is that your child will have a successful education experience, a fun filled year socially and leave 4th grade with fond memories ready to enter 5th grade. Thank you for entrusting me with what you hold most precious, your child.
